His journey has gone from becoming a successful serial entrepreneur, to receiving the key to the city of Atlanta, to becoming a traditional ruler. Meet His Highness Chief Nana Kweku Dakrabo I, born in the USA as Michael B. Pratt. He is now the Mpuntuhene (Development Chief) of Akonoma in the Asebu Kingdom of Ghana.

 

A visionary and over-achiever his entire life, he has achieved success in business, sports, and music, winning many awards, and breaking records. He attended the prestigious University of Southern California (USC), where he ran track and graduated Cum Laude from the Business School’s Entrepreneurial Studies program with a Minor in Music. Chief Nana owns several companies, holds many partnerships and board seats internationally, and is currently pursuing his UN Ambassadorship.

Whether he is consulting with Ambassadors, Presidents, Royals, Government Officials, Business Executives, or Celebrities around the world, or working on development projects and engaging schools internationally to implement curriculums, Chief Nana has been successful in creating and executing strategies that enabled companies, institutions, organizations, and governments to solve problems and grow. With over 19 years of experience, he continues to find success developing global relationships and professional networks that enable them to thrive. 

 

As a Traditional Ruler, Chief Nana is passionate about his entrepreneurial and humanitarian efforts as he works to improve education/healthcare by building technologically advanced schools & hospitals, create jobs to build the middle class, develop a tech & investment ecosystem, develop an entertainment ecosystem, improve infrastructure and tourism, and tackle social issues in food security, housing, and access to clean water throughout Africa.
