Chief Nana Kweku Dakrabo I was born in the United States as Michael B. Pratt and later enstooled as Mpuntuhene (Development Chief) of Akonoma in the Asebu Kingdom of Ghana. His journey reflects a convergence of enterprise, leadership, and traditional responsibility—bridging global experience with custodial stewardship at the local and national level.

Educated at the University of Southern California, Chief Nana graduated cum laude from the Marshall School of Business with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Studies and a minor in Music, while also competing as a collegiate track athlete. Over the course of nearly two decades, he has built and overseen ventures across multiple sectors, cultivated international partnerships, and served in advisory and board capacities spanning the private, public, and cultural domains.

Chief Nana’s work regularly brings him into engagement with senior leaders across government, diplomacy, business, and the creative industries. His experience includes advising institutions and organizations on strategy, facilitating cross-border collaboration, and supporting initiatives that require sensitivity to cultural, political, and economic context. These efforts have contributed to the development of durable relationships and platforms that enable long-term growth and institutional alignment.

As a traditional ruler, Chief Nana’s mandate extends beyond enterprise to include responsibility for community advancement and generational development. His focus encompasses education and healthcare infrastructure, job creation, ecosystem development across technology, investment, and entertainment, and the strengthening of foundational systems such as infrastructure, tourism, housing, and food security.
